Kashmiri Chai (Pink Tea) Recipe

Ingredients:

4 cups water

3 cups milk

3-4 teaspoons free Kashmiri chai leaves (green tea leaves can be subbed)

4-5 green cardamom cases, gently squashed

1 teaspoon baking pop

Sugar, to taste

Hacked pistachios or almonds for decorating (discretionary)

Guidelines:

Set up the Tea Leaves:

In a bowl, drench the Kashmiri chai leaves in 1 cup of cold water for around 30 minutes. This step helps in setting the variety and flavor free from the tea leaves.

Heat the Tea:

In a bowl, heat 4 cups of water to the point of boiling.

Add Milk and Cardamom:
